Assistant Professor, Design
Kevin Lahoda is an Assistant Professor of Design in the Department of Art, Architecture and Design at Lehigh University and a Principal Investigator in the Small Cities Lab. His research advances community-facing design methods that use technology to translate civic data into tools for advocacy and action across scales. Recent work includes localized experiential design that sparks discourse on environmental issues through playful data literacy, Faith & Home, which explores how faith communities adapt church properties into housing and community space, and Behind the Demand, a critical visualization project utilizing design as a tool of advocacy around the environmental and cultural footprint of hyperscale data centers.
