Lauren Scott
Small Cities Lab Post-Doctoral Fellow, '25 - '26
Lauren Scott is a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Art, Architecture, and Design. Her work examines how design and planning can help communities respond to the unequal impacts of climate change, particularly in smaller cities and historically underinvested neighborhoods.
Lauren has partnered with the City of Allentown to support the development of the City’s first Climate Action Plan. Her work has focused on urban heat and the ways spatial analysis and design interventions can identify vulnerable areas, address inequities in heat exposure, and inform longer-term climate adaptation strategies for the city.
